  I want to start off by saying, I am in LOVE with Red Apple Lipstick! The two products I'll be reviewing today is the Exfoliating Stick and the Cranberry Magic lipstick.  I was one of a select few that was given the chance to try two products of my choice in exchange for a honest, unbiased review. And I have to admit I am glad I was. 

  You see, for me to actually find a lip product that actually keeps my lips moist and has a nice good pigment has been next to impossible. Every lipstick I have tried had chapped and cracked my lips. Then I have that scaley fish lips look going on. I have literally spent hundreds of dollars on different lipstick brands only to throw them in the trash... that's until I used Red Apple Lipstick's products. 

  A few things about Red Apple Lipstick then on to my review. They were started by a man named Jay. I have to say he is most definitely a unique individual,  but so far I like him. Red Apple Lipstick's products are always vegan, gluten free,  paraben free, soy free, allergen free,  BPA free, and made right here in USA. 

  So the first thing I noticed after eagerly tearing into the mail package was the cute little bag (first photo at the top) both products were in with their logo stamped across it. How simple yet totally adorable at the same time! Next when I took my items out the packing itself caught my attention. For those of you that know me, you know I typically don't notice details like this, ever. But I couldn't help noticing the kissed apple logo printed not only across the sides of the box but at the end as well. I love that kissed apple. It's truly fitting for the company! Also check out the cap, yep it's stamped too . The rest of the tube is very thick and durable, which emphasizes on the high quality of Red Apple Lipstick's products. And who doesn't love quality?

The Exfoliating Stick! 

  I know you're think how weird this thing looks but trust me your lips would LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I picked this particular item because winter is coming soon and my lips are always dry and chapped and flaky (eww gross), with out using bad lipstick.  Cranberry Magic Lipstick

  OH MY GOSH! I had no idea a person could fall in love with a product as much as I love this lipstick. It's so moist, vibrantly pigmented, and the staying power is the best I have ever used. I specifically chose the color Cranberry Magic because I don't have any reds in my lip bag. All of the red gloss I own just blends in on my very pigmented lips and I wanted something that was bright and bold. And this was definitely the right color for that.  You'll notice in the picture above showing my swatch how bright, bold and moisturizing it is. And that's just ONE swipe across! It also has a bit of metallic shimmer to it as well but not too much so you don't have that I just ate a glitter donut look. Just as the perfect high quality lipstick should.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. After using this for several days I am pleasantly surprised. First off there is no fish smell to it. That's a big thing for me as bad smell often turns into bad taste and then auto vomit reflex kicks in. So yay for no bad fish smell! Next the capsules also had a decent taste to them. They were smooth and easy to swallow despite being on the extremely large side. Also no terrible after taste or fish burps! Thank goodness, because seriously who wants regurgitated fish? And lastly this was gentle on my stomach. Last time I attempted to take omega 3 pills I ended up spending 3 days in the restroom clearing out my system.   When I first opening the package this was scent in, I immediately noticed some kind of fragrance coming from the sealed cream. It wasn't a bad sent kind of a minty-citrus smell. Its a nice clean crisp scent not chemically or mediciney (yes that's a word because I said so 😉). Reminded me of some foot lotions I've used in the past. When I took the plastic off the tube the sent got even stronger filling my entire living room with that minty-citrus smell, suddenly I had the urge to go get a pedicure. One thing is for sure, it's definitely potent!

  The consistency of the cream is more like room temperature honey or sweeten condensed milk than a cream in my opinion. To me a cream is whipped and thick.. you know like whipped cream. When I opened the top I didn't need to squeeze the tube, it just poured out on its own. The color is a very pale creamy yellow. Did I mention how potent the fragrance in this is?

   Bonapiel says to apply three product directly to the area and rub in using a circular motion until absorbed.  When I did this I noticed the product was very slick, but sticky. I kept rubbing in a circular motion for a good 2 minutes before coming to the conclusion it's not going to absorb any time soon. As a matter of fact the product left this icky sticky film behind until it finally absorbed into my skin which took about 20 minutes. When applying this I noticed it had a cooling effect. Must be where the mint scent comes in. Once absorbed my skin felt smooth and hydrated. I also noticed it felt a bit tight.. like it was actually firming the skin. I've been using this product twice a day for 10 days on my upper thighs and stomach. I can not say it has dissolved and rid me of cellulite, but what I can tell you is my skin definitely feels a lot more moist and firm to the touch. The appearance of cellulite has reduced enough for me to actually see a difference in the appearance.  Not near as giggly and dimpley (yep that's another word I made up) as it was prior to me using this product. Other than the stickiness while I wait for it to absorb I'm extremely happy with this lotion. It actually showed some kind of results and I plan to continue using it. I definitely recommend this to any of my readers.

Super Sticky Suction Car Mount by iGotTech

  Ok, so not only am I beauty product addict, but I'm also some what of a electronics and gadgets nerd as well. Which explains why I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Not only is this phones capabilities unlimited,  it's freaking huge! Of course in today's world of cell phones, big is better. The problem is finding a handy location for it while in the car. That's where the Super Sticky Suction Car Mount by iGotTech comes in.

  

  This hand little gadget is so easy to use! All you have to do is open the box, remove the plastic film over the suction cup, pop on your windshield then stick your device to the super stick base. Then Ta-Da! You're ready to go. 

  So far my experience has been great. The only thing I dislike about it is it does not work with the textured back of my Samsung. However when I put a smooth backed case on it, my phone was secure.  I also tried this on my iPad since it often is along for the longer road trips. To my surprise,  it held on to my iPad as well.

The consistency is like a milky liquid with a yellow/orange tint to it. It's moisturizing without feeling heavy or greasy and absorbs very quickly. I LOVED the way my skin felt after applying this. It was so silky and smooth and refreshed feeling.and a little goes a looong way. 

  I used this 2 times a day as directed for a total of 6 days. Sadly, while using this product I broke out in acne every where I put it, including my neck, gross. Talk about being bummed out! But as with any product, not everybody will react the same. 

  Over all I would recommend this product to anybody who does not have acne-prone skin.

Welcome to my site! In this first post I'm going to bore you a bit about who I am and what this blog is all about.

First off, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit this page. Although this isn't my first blog, it certainly has been a while so I'm a bit rusty at this, so be patient with me and if needed, mini naps are acceptable.

So, who is that sexy chic in the photo above anyway? MY name is Heather Adams.  I'm a 33 year old mom of 3 amazing (I know all of us mom's say thay about our kids, but mine really are) children. My oldest is a 13 year old boy who will often be referred to as "the moody teen". My other 2 are the cutest 6 year old identical twins ever! You will probablt read alot about them I'm sure. They will be referred to as "T1" or 'little miss thang" and "T2" or  "little miss sweet pea"

I am a full time furniture sales associate  at an amazing furniture outlet, often working 46+ hours a week. Don't be surprised if in the beginning I only post a few times a week.

Yes, I was one of those young n dumb girls who got married right out of high school to her high school sweet heart, and became a statistic when it ended in divorce.  Oh well, at least I got that awesome "moody teen" out of him during that short time.

I currently live in Harrison, AR. But don't be fooled, I'm a city girl at heart who was born and raised in the infamous big city of Portland,  OR. Oh how I miss the city life!

Remember above I mentioned this isn't my first blog? That's correct.  Previously, when I was a stay at home mom I ran a site simular to "That Krazy Coupon Lady". It was a HUGE hit in my area and grew so fast I was totally shocked. It eventually turned into a full time job. Well once I began my sales job I obviously didn't have the time to devote to it and eventually faded out and handed the whole thing over to my partner. I was a bit sad but, relieved too. When you literally have thousands depending on you to deliver all of those steals ~n~ deals, you feel a since of obligation to them. Luckily I had an amazing partner who was able to take on the task.

Okay enough about me let's get back to the sole purpose of this blog. I love trying new things, and who doesnt? I also love sharing my thoughts on products/services that I've used and AMAZING deals I have found that you can jump into as well. And what better way to reach a large group than a blog?

My main focus will be health and beauty. Simply because that's my favorite section of the store. I'll review all kinds of items and even get my children to put in a review here and there on products specifically for them as well. You might even get something from the hubby, but often he is not a man of many words when it comes to this type of thing.

This is purely for fun for me, and all reviews will be my honest opinion even if it's something I received for free specifically in exchange for a review. I hope you all enjoy my upcoming reviews!  
