I was given the chance to review this product. After getting all the details, I decided this was not for me, or my computer. I originally thought this would be a great product to monitor my teenager with. I mean lets face it, teens are teens and they are smart. And if you don't keep an eye on them, closely they'll end up  doing the very things you raised them not to do thanks to peer pressure these days. The discription for this product on the review op board is as follows:

After reviewing and gaining more info on the product I learned that:

A. The product is one time use. Um why would I want something I can use only ONE TIME.

B. You must have the phone, install the software and do all kinds of other stuff just to get the info you wanted. This could take hours. I don't have time for that, plus, this isn't a very secretive way to check on your teen.

C. It is not 100% accurate and does not actually get all deleted info. Which means you could be missing important things you needed, the whole reason to even have an item like this.

When I attempted to contact this company to politely ask them to remove me from this promotion, I never got a response. In fact I contacted them via Tomoson, the review site I got this promotion from, and through their customer service link on their site. Not once, not even one time did this company bother to reply to my messages. I am not sure about you, but if you can't even get a response from customer service on a technology based product, I wouldn't want to have it. What if my computer crashed had I downloaded the product? Or malware o whatever. What If I wasn't tech savvy and needed help using the product. The lack of customer service from this company leaves me no option but to rate this company as a do not purchase from. If they will not communicate with their chosen product reviewers, whom they give a FREE product to, I can only imagine how somebody who paid for the product would feel.

Over all, I would not do any business with DataPilot, period.

These reusable pouches are pretty awesome. I originally decided to review them and then give them away as a baby gift for a friend of mine. But after getting these I realized these are great for kids of most ages. Why? These reusable food pouches are a great idea for smoothies on the go, yogurt, apple sauce, pretty much anything that is messy when you're in a rush. Best of all you can pre-make food and freeze them too.

These food pouches from Easy Anywhere are made from thick plastic like material that is durable and flexible. The material is BPA,PVC and Phthalate free.   I love having a variety of facial masks in my arsenal of beauty products. They offer spa like luxery skin treatments for everything from deep cleaning to tightening and brightening aging skin. So when I had the opportunity to try the Clear Skin Smoothie Face Mask by Bellaboo I was super excited. Despite being in my 30's I skin get those teenage breakouts on my face. The Bellaboo mask was designed to deep clean and draw out impurities while refining and tightening your pores to get that clear smooth complexion back. Designed for teens and tweens this mask is made from all natural ingredients according to Bellaboo.

   The Clear Skin Smoothie Mask is a cream colored mask that has a texture of a smoothie. It has a nice clean scent like many other acne treating products. It's Very thick despite the creaminess, but still smooths on very nicely. It comes in a small squeeze tube which makes application easy. Omce applied it looks like you have spread yogurt all over your face. According to the directions you apply a thick layer on skin and allow to dry completely, approximately 10 minutes.

  The mask was very soothing as it sat on my face. I could feel it tightening a bit and felt it work as it pulled out the junk from my skin. I was very excited about this as I never knew skin could itch so much during a facial. My expectations were a nice dirt/oil free skin after rinsing off. 

  Instead of a bright clear complexion after rinsing my face, I had a red, blotchy irritated mess. This was very disheartening as I was hoping for better non irritated results. My face remained itchy and firey red for about 6 hours after use. Skin was hot to the touch and definitely not happy with what I had used. Now, keep in mind, I typically don't have sensitive skin or reactions to new products. But this is the rare exception. I know everybody has different chemistry, and every face will react differently. But for me, this is on the do not use list. Hopefully, I can give this to a friend or relative to use.

  I have been using this device for about 4 weeks now, just in time to keep those pesky ants and spiders I see every year out of the house. I keep all options switched on at all times to get the full benefits of this device. Unfortunately, for my my experience has not been the greatest as far as repelling the pest. Every year around mid March I get an annoying trail of ants that come through my bathroom window and chill at the sink as if it were the beach. I don't know why, being that its clean and there isn't any food there for them, maybe it's the water access, I don't know. But they do arrive almost like clock work. I was excited to NOT see these little nuisances this year as I had set up the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller in my bathroom. But as usual, the ants still came, marching one by one to the sink to hang out with their other ant buddies. This was a huge disappointment for me as it takes weeks of constant baiting and scrubbing and spraying to get them gone. 

  As far as the odor control aspect of this little device, I can say the horrible stinch that often lingers after my husband or son have made a visit to the restroom doesn't seem to linger around nearly as long as it use to. For that I can say this device does help to some degree. 

  Overall, I wasn't impressed with this product over all. Had it kept the ants away I would have totally believed in it, but sadly it didn't, so I don't. Everybody does have different experiences with products, mine wasn't the best.

I love green smoothies, but I am always afraid of what to put in them in fear of the out coming taste (have you ever huiced an onion??) When I had a chance to review this book in exchange for review I knew I just HAD to have it. This book is great for any beginner who is looking to add more fruits and veggies to their diet to help improve over all health, with an added bonus of potential weight loss or for those hard core dieters who just want some new variety in their smoothies.

For me juicing and smoothies are nothing new. All though the first few chapters are very informative for BEGINNERS with details as to how smoothies are good for you, what they can do for you and why and all that, I personally got bored with them and felt they were repetitive. But again, I am not a newbie to this whole concept, which would explain why I felt that way.

After the first few chapters you finally get into the good stuff, the recipes! Like I said I have been a bit nervous about trying certain veggies in my smoothies and not sure what to blend them with. This book has offered so many varieties I was shocked. I was even more shocked to find out how much I actually like kale and spinach in my smoothies too. So many recipes you can have a different one every, plus once you get comfortable with trying new things, its easy to come up with your own unique variations that you love.

One thing I really liked about this book despite not being new to being healthy is that each recipe gives you your nutritional facts suchas calories, fat, protien and carbs. I really have to watch my carb intake whether its natural or artificial sugars, due to my hypothyroidism. I don't have much of a metabolism, making it hard to burn calories and carbs, so the fewer the carbs the better for me. I also like how he adds a little tip or fact or replacement idea at the beginning of each recipe.

Over all I would say this a great for beginners looking to get healthy and potentially loose some weight. If you are not new to smothie/juicing concept, and you know the benefits, whys and what fors, skip the first few chapters and dive into the recipes.

Baby items always seem to make me smile. Funny thing is my "baby" is almost 7. My co-worker/friend on the other hand is expecting their 3rd child in May. I had the opportunity to inspect and review these teething toys  from Dot & Dot and thought what a great addition this will be to their baby gift basket.

 Finding unisex gifts can be hard these days, and since my friend and his wife choose not to find out the sex of their expected baby, these are perfect for them as these bright colors are perfect for  boy or girl. These toys come packaged in a cute little bag that is tied shut, making it already perfect for gift giving.
These toys come with a car, a train an elephant and a bracelet/toy clip that allows you to either clip one toy or pacifier to it or make it a bracelet. The  bracelet/clip is also beaded with the same BPA free, food grade silicone teething beads as the toys. That is important as we all know, because nobody wants to harm a baby with harsh chemicals. I have to say I actually like this material much better than the gel filled teething rings my kids had. Those things where hard, and slick. Once a tooth came in, forget using them because those sharp little new teeth pierced the plastic making a nasty leaking (not to mention unhealthy) mess. The Dot & Dot teething toys are thick, and solid, making them durable and long lasting. One side of the toys is smooth while the other side is textured making it perfect for soothing sore baby gums. You can also throw these babies in the freezer to make them cold for added relief to inflamed gums.

Cleaning these teething toys is supper easy, just throw them in the dishwasher and your done. I personally prefer the old fashion method of cleaning and sanitizing with boiling water my self, and that is ok too! Over all I would say these are great teething toys. I really wish I had these for my children, but at least I know I will be giving one of the most perfect gifts for the expecting mom.

Minecraft Ocelot Premium Zip-up Hoodie Review.

 

  If your kids (or over grown kids) LOVE Minecraft even as half as much as mine do, then they will

fall in love with the Minecraft Ocelot Premium Zip-Up Hoodie from Jinx. This hoodie is almost as 

adorable as my twins. It's design definitely gives you the mine craft block look. Plus those ears on 

the hood, how CUTE! The only thing missing from this jacket is the Ocelot tail.

What is an Ocelot?

Well it's a creature from the popular game Minecraft. My 

daughters informed me that it is a cat. 

This Minecraft jacket from  is 60% cotton and 40% polyester.

                                 

 I love the fact that the material is thick. My daughters are very 

petite and slim and tend to stay on the cold side compared most 

people. The inside of the jacket is lined with a soft fuzzy fleece 

material that my daughter just loves. The stitching is neat, clean and

straight as a high quality item should be.

There are not any stray, loose stings hanging out waiting to be

broke free.

The zipper is made of thick durable nylon teeth and a metal slider. 

Nylon teeth are know for their flexibility and "self healing" properties.

The metal slider has a cute metal grip that says Minecraft.

I like this detailed feature because it really connects you to the game.

Another bit of detail in this jacket is the Minecraft logo on the bottom right corner of the jacket. 

It's little details like this that connect this jacket to the game.

  Over all I would say that not only is this jacket warm, cuddly, high quality and functional, but its just down right fun no matter how old you are!

12-in-1 Headband [Paisley] by Tough Headband

  This is so fun! I really enjoy the fact that I can get so many different uses (12 that I know of) out of this headband. My most common use is as a headband, rolled to make is about a I/2 inch wide to keep hair out of my face while cooking, cleaning, face washing, make up application ect. I also liked that this can be used like a bandana to keep hair for getting wind blown and tangled while riding on a motorcycle. Also this is great as a face mask on cool windy days. I often have this handy at work for hat purpose when unloading trucks. The black and white paisley design is great and will coordinate with almost any outfit. The fabric is thicker than others I have used and is stretchy. When I get it sweaty at the gym during my work outs all I have to do is throw it in the washer and dry and its perfect again.   Do you ever feel that eating healthy is a challenge with todays busy on the run go-go lifestyle? I know I sure do, but the fact is I MUST eat as healthy as I possibly can. If you've read any of my other reviews then you know about my struggle with hypothyroidism and keeping a healthy weight. I've been so focused on making sure everything I put into my body is low carb and calorie fresh foods. The problem is you tend to loose your excitement for food when it comes to meal time because you get stuck in a rut eating the same old salad and fruits day in and day out. In fact there have been times where I just didn't eat because I didn't want a salad, of grilled chicken breast, or green machine juice. It wasn't appealing for me at the moment and I certainly wasn't going to get off track and eat.. gasp.. a piece of bread, or pasta. Those carbs for somebody in my situation like kryptonite is to Super Man.

  When I got the opportunity to review this eBook I got hopeful that there would be SOMETHING to get me out of my "I hate meal time" mood. And to my pleasant surprise this book is chalked full of amazing recipes for clean eating. Not only that, if you're new to the whole concept of clean eating, this book gives you a ton of information as to what clean eating is, how to eat clean and how to cook clean.

  My favorite part about the book is, of course the recipes. Full of recipes for everything from appetizers to deserts. You will definitely have a nice added variety of dishes to choose from to keep you on the road to healthier living.

  One of my favorite recipes is the Wrapped Mango Spinach Bites. These are sooo yummy, and of course, healthy. See below for this sneak peak into what you'll find in this book.

Ingredients:
1 ripe mango peeled and slice
2 cups fresh spinach leaves
Chive strands
Balsamic vinegar

Directions:
Take one slice of mango and wrap a few spinach leaves around them, tie a strand or 2 around the leaves and secure. continue until you've wrapped all of your mango slices. Drizzle Balsamic vinegar over each wrap and enjoy! These are sooo good!

King's Crown by Kangaroo

My daughters love make believe play and this crown has added to the fun. I was selected to receive this crown at a discount for the purpose of inspection and an unbiased review.

When the crown arrived I was shocked at how quickly it came. When I opened the box the crown was loosely wrapped in plastic and at first glance looked pretty awesome. As I took out the crown, still wrapped in the plastic, I immediately noticed that there were 4 jewels as seen in the picture, missing at the base of the crown. I inspected the plastic for the jewels, knowing that UPS isn't the most gentle of people when handling packages, and they were not in there with the crown. When I checked the box to see if the may have fallen out of the plastic, they were not there either, realizing this was sent this way not a result of the shipping.

Upon further inspection, if you look at the photos you'll notice that the other jewels on the crown were often misaligned on the designated mold, were raised off the plastic causing a large space between the gold plastic making it easy to cause a jewel to fall of at the slightest touch, and big globs of glue that protruded on one side of the jewels. In addition to that, those annoying hair like strings of glue from hot glue gun were covering the entire crown. The poor thing looked like it had a fight with Spider Man and lost.

Moving on, I quickly noticed the red felt like fabric that they tried to glue to the gold plastic was actually separated from the plastic as seen in the photo, with a giant glue glob very noticeable. My over all feelings of this crown is that the craftsmanship and overall appearance is very poor and sloppy. One can go to their local dollar tree and save $10.95 and get the exact same thing. I would have rated this product at 2 stars, but despite its flaws my twins still have lots of fun when they aren't frustrated at having to wait for mommy to glue a jewel back on that had fallen off when they simple put the crown on their head.

Xtava Rimini 1800W Iconic Hair Dryer Blue With Diffuser

 

This hair dryer is so pretty, and light! But I have to say, I apparently read the listing wrong, this is a ICONIC hair dry, not ionic. Curious as to what exactly that meant I looked it up, then it made since.

Xtava is known to have amazing hair styling tools that are over the top. This particular product, in my opinion is not over the top, but I still like it for my hair. I have baby fine hair so I don't require mega heat to dry it. With this dryer, I was able to dry my hair a bit quicker than with my Conair dryer I've had for years but as I said it doesn't take much for my hair. It has 3 heat settings and 2 speed options plus the cool shot option. I like that it seems to be instantly hot when you turn it on, and the cool shot feature works much much better than my Conair.

I don't use a defuser, but I did use the concentration nozzle and it seemed to fit fairly well other than an occasional spin here and there when I wacked it with the hair brush. The cord is very thick and an average length and I'm ok with that. I am a bit disappointed that it does not swivel however as I "round brush" my hair and a swivel cord works best for that. Even though I am right handed, I actually use my left hand to dry with as I style and this dryer made that very easy. Also, being that it is light weight, my arm and hand did not get fatigued as it normally does while doing my hair.

I like that my hair is nice and shiney when I am done and not a frizzy mess. Overall even though this is not an ionic dryer, and it doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, it's still a good value for the price. I paid almost $70 for my Conair, and the only difference between the two is the Conair has a swivel cord this does not. But this one has a better drying time and is more light weight.

Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil fabulous for aromatherapy massage - best carrier oil for essentials

I had no idea that coconut oil was available in liquid form! All these yeas I've been using traditional coconut oil for years for massage, shaving facial moisturizer. Now that I have found a much more convenient form, I am hooked! This fractionated coconut oil is AMAZING. My husband uses it as a massage oil on me. He likes it because it glides on easily, but doesn't leave his hands feeling greasy. Plus he likes that it doesn't smell like coconut. This oil absorbs well, leaving my skin soft and supple.

I also use this as a shave gel alternative. Just slather a bit on your leg, shave, rinse and repeat. The end results are super soft silky legs, with out the oily shine. After I shower I also like to use this on my frequently dry skin I get from my hypothyroidism. I constantly have a battle of the snake skin going on. But since I began using the fractionated coconut oil, I've found my legs stay hydrated through out the day with out the need for reapplication. This is HUGE for me in that aspect.

Another great use I have found for this is as a facial cleanser/moisturizer. I've be using all sorts of facial products and constantly changing them around that here recently my face decided it was going on strike and has freaked out on me. even though I personally like change, my skin apparently does not. I ditched ALL facial products I was using and went back to my traditional method of using coconut oil for both. Again this was the first time I had used a liquid form of coconut oil, and I was truly amazed. I always felt in the past I was wasting so much product. But with this I get just the right amount. My skin is so much happier. It not only feels better, but these blemishes that I had which appeared to be acne, but wasn't are now gone.

I have to admit, I am a new fan of fractionated coconut oil. For my massage, moisturizing and facial cleansing needs, this will remain my go to product. The best part is, so little goes soooo far, which makes this an amazing deal as it will last you a very long time.

Ok, I have to admit I'm blown away at the quality of this set. I purchased these during at a special promotional price, and figured they would be the same typically flimsy quality of those you get at walmart. Well I was surprisingly wrong on that! These are probably the thickest set of tongs I've ever used, and I've worked in high end restaurants before. The stainless steal handles are super durable and sturdy. Most tongs when you close them are real flimsy and don't always get a good grip. But these get a grip like no other. It's nice to know that when I grab a chicken leg it will actually make it to my plate rather than the table for a change. These are also great for serving salad as well. I really like that the ends are made of a hard durable textured silicone. I feel its because of that feature these tongs are able to hold to things. Plus I have yet to have them melt when I accidently leave them in a hot skillet, bonus! Cleaning is easy. I haven't had any issues with anything sticking to them and not wanting to come of. if you look at my photos you'll see the tong lock/ hanger. Since I have limited space in my kitchen its much better to store these shut. All you do is push down the lock and you're good to go. That also makes it easier to transport them should you be having Thanksgiving dinner at the in-laws. That same lock also doubles as a hanger to hang these in stead of shoving them in a drawer. The stainless steal makes them attractive and coordinate with any kitchen décor. Over all I am EXTREMELY pleased with this set. The are tough, durable, stylish but most importantly, functional.

Smokey Paws Silicone Heat Resistant Cooking Gloves and Bear Claw Meat Shredder Combo Pack

My husband is a bbq master. He's always grilling or smoking something delicious. The problem is, he's also always stealing my oven mitts only to return them with nasty sauce or charcoal smothered all over them. Sometimes he brings them back fll of holes because he got to close to the fire. Well not anymore. Now that he has these amazing heat resistant silicone gloves that is a thing of the past. These are super thick yet durable and I was surprised at how well they protect your hands from evil burns. I mean seriously, I was a bit skeptical on how they would prevent burns, which is why my hubby was the guinea pig.

Not only that, with the thickness, they are extremely bendable. My husband has no problem griping the heavy trays of meat he just finished and carrying them in. With the old fashioned oven mitts, he was always afraid our food was going to end up on the floor, and a few times it did.

For me what I like most about these gloves is the fact that there is no need to stress is you get something ooey and gooey all over them. Just rinse them with hot soapy water and your done. No stains, no mess, no fuss.

The bonus meat claws are pretty awesome too! My husband is always smoking some bbq pork, but shredding was always a hassle and a mess. With the claws, he can shred right through that pork butt so quickly and effortlessly and its ready to go. Truly a must have for any bbq fan.

Insta Natural has a huge line of amazing high quality products. The Seaweed Powder is just another one of their amazing products. First off this comes in a HUGE 24oz jar. I can't think of the last beauty item I purchased that came with so much. The jar is made of plastic and is white in color. It has a green label which is perfect fit for the product. The jar arrives sealed with plastic. Then, under the lid there is another seal to lock in freshness and prevents any possible contamination.

The powder is a very fine powder perfect for mixing different scrubs and masks. It definitely is the purest form of seaweed. It's green in color, and well, smells like seaweed.  Some people may not be able to handle the smell of this particular product. I have a hard time personally but have found that if you add a drop or two of essential oil you can over come the sea smell.


Insta Natural Seaweed Powder is 100% Natural, kosher certified, and certified organic by USDA and Ecocert ICO. Each batch of kelp is freshly harvested from North America.

I personally use this as a exfoliating scrub and face mask. I truly love this especially when mother nature wants to reak havoc on my face once a month. You can literally see, and feel the difference after using this. Below is a few simple recipes you can try with Insta Natural Seaweed Powder, however the possibilities are endless with this one.

Facial Scrub 2 Tablespoons seaweed powder, 2 Tablespoons coconut oil, 3-4 Tablespoons sea salt. Mix the ingredients together until it turns into a thick and heavy mixture. Gently rub mixture over face in a circular motons. Rinse off with warm water, or use a damp cloth. Follow up with a facial oil cleanser. Can be use daily.

Facial Mask 2 tablespoons seaweed powder, 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel, 2 tablespoons honey. Mix the ingredients together into it turns into a paste. Make sure exfoliate skin first. Then apply the paste over your entire face and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, or use a damp towel if needed. Use 2-3 times a week for best results.

Cellulite scrub. If you choose to do this you will need 1/4 cup seaweed powder, 1/4 cup sea salt, 1/4 cup olive oil 1-2 drops of essential oil (optional). Mix all the ingredients together until it forms into a creamy mixture. Before showering massage the celluite scrub over targeted areas using a circular, upward strokes. Rinse off in the shower, and then follow up with a moisturizer. Use this daily to see best results.

Seaweed Body Wrap 1 cup Seaweed powder, Warm water, 2 Tablespoons olive oil, 1-2 drops of essential oil (optional) Mix the seaweed powder and warm till it forms a thick paste then add the olive oil and essential oil (optional). Apply this mixture to area you want to use it on doing upward strokes. Apply this mixture in the shower as it can be quite a mess. Once its all over apply plastic wrap over it. Put on something warm and sit in a warm room. This will ensure that your skin heats up and opens pores so that the seaweed powder can do it's magic. Leave this on for 20-30 Minutes then rinse off thoroughly with cool water in the shower. For best results take a warm shower or bath beforehand to open your pores and exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells. This treatment can be used 1-2 times a week or as often as needed.
